i am having an IPOD installed in my 2002.
I purchased all the cables that are needed from info gathered here.
The shop tried to hook it up last saturday & couldn't get it to work.
I just called & they are in the process to figure out how to install it.
Can someone call 1-800-620-3159 & enlightem them as to how this gets hooked up.

You unplug the cable from the cd changer in the trunk and plug it in to the appropriate end of the new cable you purchased. Plug the remaining end into the ipod adaptor box. Plug the 12 foot cable into the other side of the ipod adaptor box and the remaining end plugs into your ipod. After you test it out you can run the long cable under the carpet and the console. I cut a hole in the bottom of my cup holder and have the end that plugs into the ipod sticking iut through it. You can then rest the ipod in the cupholder, since it isn't any good for holding cups.
Sorry about that. Check over in the audio section. I know there is something over there. I'm not sure if you can hook into the back of the radio, or if you have to get the cable that would run to the back of the car for use with the cd changer and install it. I believe that cable would install somewhere under the passenger side footwell. The audio section should be able to help you out. Good luck.
Its a very straight forward install, I did my install in maybe 25mins, ask them to make sure they have the right switches click, if I remember correct its 3 and 8 need to be swicthed.

AND on the front of the instructions there should be a NOTE that says the instructions for Corvettes in the booklet are INCORRECT, and to do xyz!

Also the unit needs to be unpluged to make and switch changes.
My 2001 Z doesn't have a rear cd changer either. The cable you listed is only one of the 2 you need to install the interface. I am trying to look it up right now. E-mail the seller and they should be able to tell you the other cable you need.
