Default using 18 inch fronts also

Right now I have the stock 18/17 rims on my 03 Z. I run Nitto road race tires in 305/35/18 and 275/40/17. The front in 275/40 (Nitto desnt make a 265/40 which would be great) is too tall a sidewall compared to the rears and with really hard cornering it is not good and I can feel it, plus visually the front tire looks much larger.

Im deciding on maybe going with a same size 18" rim on the front as the rears and using a 285/35 sized tire (which has a lower profile sidewall than the 275/40) to make it the same sidewall profile as rear with 35 measurement for better handling.

Any idea if this will throw off the computer, ABS, AH and such? There is still a small diameter difference between the front and rear tire size but dont wanna upset the car any.

Lots of ppl run 18s all around. As long as the front tire is slightly small diameter then the rear you will be fine. Of just turn off AH/TC

Yes Lots of ppl do that. 18x10 in front and 18x11 or 18x12 in the rear. You might have to remove the inner rear brake duck work for an 18x11 to fit.

I run 18x12s up front and 18x13s in back for road track events.

I've got 18 x 10's and 11's using 265 and 295 tires. Two years now and absolutely no problems doing so. Fronts are same diameter as stock 17's.

I've been running 18x9.5f and 18x11r for almost 4 years.... no issues. On track I run 17x11 w/ 315's all around. However, I run w/ AH/TC all off. Sometimes on my warmup session I have comp mode on an AH still functions fine.
