If you go to the main menu and scroll down towards the bottom, you'll find the Help Forum. It's probably been asked by new members in the past, or someone will assist you. Scroll through and read through some of those topics for helpful information for new members and "old" members alike.
It'll have all kinds of useful information about how do I...?, basically, making full use of the forum itself (not technical questions about your car).

Near the top of very screen you will see a horizontal red bar. Within it are a series of words.
Second from the left says User CP put your cursor over top of user CP and left click
IT will bring up a new page on that page there will be a gray colored vertical column on the left side of the page that is called control panel
Within the column will be another set of words.
the third set down is edit profile. put your cursor overtop of edit profile and left click....
fill in the details
