I bought a set of Z06 chrome wheels from Tomz Wheels last year and had them installed at a local alignment shop by a guy who is a mechanic for an ALMS racing team. I had him balance them twice and still had a vibration so I thought that the wheel was out of round and couldn't be balanced perfectly. I read a post here about someone taking their car to a shop that used the Hunter Balancing machine and how great it was. Well this morning I took my car to a local tire shop that uses the Hunter, the guy had it done in less than an hour and I've never had a smoother ride since I've owned this car! I'm sold, if you have a vibration in your car or need an alignment here's a link that finds shops using this machine. http://www.gsp9700.com/pub/search/findgsp9700.cfm
great; probably glad to get that monkey off your back.
I myself can sense the slightest vibration... and can't ever seem to ignore it. So it dwells and dwells on me until I can get it elliminated.
Yep, thought it was terminal. Glad it wasn't. Hey Tim that sure is a nice car your wife just bought, think she'll let you drive it? That looks like the buy of the century!
I have the same wheels and have the same problem with vibrations. Been living with the cyclic vib for 6 months now after having them balanced 4 times at Discount. Im gonna check your link.
