Z06 Rear divider
A friend of mine is looking for a lightweight foam rear trunk divider for his C5 Z06. Anyone have any ideas where to find it. Thanks in advance!

I believe Eckler's sells the foam type. I went with a heavier MDF type of wrapped board. Here are some photos:
I'm very happy with the fit & finish. Vinyl / plexiglass on interior side & matching carpet on the trunk facing side.
Picked it up on that internet auction site...search under "Corvette partition" & you'll find a couple.

Can you give me an idea on the weight?

Bruce,
Never had it on a scale
...but, probably talking about 10 or 12 lbs. It fits very secure & doesn't move around...& in my opinion, blends in nicely with the interior...almost kind of OEM looking.

Thanks Tom, he's going to order the 2-1/2" foam partition from Ecklers in the morning.

Glad to help out...as I said in the PM, if he's looking for weight savings, the foam one is the way to go

I have a 2000 FRC with BB Bullets...how much does the divider cut down the road/exhaust noise..is it a noticible difference?
