Default GM Bra question

What is the difference between the regular GM Bra and the Z06 GM bra? Vararam is being installed on my C5, do I need the Z06 bra now? Maybe I'll just go braless.

The non Z06 bra has clear plastic over the fog lights and the Z06 one does not. I have one for sale if interested. $75 shipped.

Thanks for the information. I have a relatively new GM bra with the plastic. I could probably just remove the plastic from the fog light area and have the same thning as the Z06 bra.

The Z06 Bra has lead inserts around the grille openings that get pushed between the screens and the fascia. These help hold the bra in place Vs letting air get underneath and move it. The solution I have seen is to convert the C5 bra by cutting circular holes in the plastic to allow air into the Vararam but leaving enough material so the bra doesn't lift due to air getting under it.

Otherwise if you just take the plastic off it may flap around and buffet the paint.

I agree. Question: What can be used to cut the circular holes cleanly, neatly, so it does not look all hacked up?
