Just a thank you to all. Last night when I got home from work and let the headlights down, sound of gears stripping!! So today I search the forum for a fix.( I know about the brass gears they will be on order this weekend!!) I found a quick fix by removing the arm from the headlight motor and turning the motor by hand 180 degrees and reinstall arm.(removed whole headlight assy.to do this ) Presto no more stripping noise .NO money spent Thanks again forum for the info. I love this place. Ron Herndon
There's an endless amount of wisdom here on the forum. It sure is a great place to share knowledge with each other.
Yeah, "IF" everyone will learn to use the search before posting a question like "How do I..." and then ask something thats been asked 22,000 times... hehehe...
Ron, glad you found the forum useful...it helped me when it came to a turn signal not working problem that was driving ME up the wall...easy fix there too!
