Ok so I ordered these off EBAY and a ebayshop called "Pro Car Parts". I will get the link later on. They come in either painted black or a chrome finish. The black ones weren't available when I purchased them so I cracked the chrome ones open and had them body color painted. The fitment isnt' the best but then again I have heard plenty about the Specter Werks (sp?). It was relatively straightforward just time consuming.

The one thing I will say is that I don't think they look amazing but they don't look bad. They look different which is what I was going for. I will get better pictures for you guys later on I was up til 2:30am as I started at 11pm.

Here's a link to a current set of "chrome" style ones on EBAY. They are $800 and some change and then however much it costs for paint.

It was worth it IMO.

 

Looking good.....Not sure how I really feel about them yet....guess it depends on teh day.....I like the sleek look.....how are they as far as lighiting?

how's the light output?

using HID bulbs?

 

Non hid bulbs, light output is far superior to the stock especially on brights. HOWEVER: Mine are not angled correctly yet so....I kinda light up a bunch of tall trees when I flip on the brights. We tested them against a warehouse building at night and the TOTAL LIGHT output was better. I just need to aim mine.

 

I agree, I don't like the lights on my car when they are up. Since I don't drive it when it's dark it doesn't matter. Your install is one of the best looking I have seen.

. I notice myself "breaking the law" by not turning on my headlights when it is drizzling and raining during the day or just getting dark or in the morning. Only when it's pitch black outside. . 800+ is a little too much for me though.

 

Any specific angled shots you guys want just for reference? I can go snap them.

I am thinking about having the top glass painted up to a certain point like the true C5R's have the black on it. Except I would do EB color. I am just being indecisive.

Maybe I should quit spending money on stupid headlights and put it towards the nitrous setup I need to finish.
