Default Alarm question.

Good morning..
I have a question about the alarm in my 2002 Coupe, Is there any indication to outsiders that the alarm is set? Like a red light or something? I have no indication at all, I see on my dash by the defrost vent on the left side a hole, Is there supose to be a light there ?
Thanks in advance.

I could be wrong, but I suspect that people "appropriating" a Vette will not let a little red light stop them.

Hopefully, someone here will help.

I agree, But I was just wondering if the hole was used for something.

Theres no tell tale for the alarm being armed. The only one is the red light on the stock radio if you have the radio security function enabled.

The small sensor I think you refer to is the ambient light sensor. It provides a light level to bring the headlights on if you have the auto headlight setting enabled
