What Cam / Head package??????
Would you recommend for a ZEE, that would allow for the stock exhaust system to stay intact, and meet emissions requirements.......
And, of course retain the low to mid range torque perfomance while producing the most USABLE power??.
looking for one that will make a REAL 400 rwhp, and using the criteria above........

That is correct. He is opening a new shop very soon and expect to hear great things from House of Speed. Kyle has worked on some serious LS1/LS6 combos and he is helping me with a solid roller 408(LS6 heads) that should put down 500 rwhp.

I have just had a ZZ4 installed. The cam that came with it has a ...............208° Intake, .221° Exhaust . I'm not to happy with the way it sounds. Not knowing anything about cams what would be the better choice to go with. The Vet is a weekend driver so I dont care if it has a rough sound to it

Wow TracerX - 408, eh ? Let us know how it comes out .... we have a guy here in Jersey doing a 408 conversion, it will be a high 10's car - when done. (well, driver has to be decent too:))

Z06LS6, You might give Josh @ Velocity 713-218 9016 a call and see what he will do for you. He did make me a real good offer on heads / cam. :yesnod: Every one I talked to was much higher $$$ :cheers: :chevy

MTI has a good package. They did an 01 Z while I was there and got 41RWHP from a cam install. The car had Headers and a ram air already. They added the cam and underdrive pulleys. 281-870-8787.

Z06LS6, CALL around and or go by and talk to the different tunners and get the low down! I did MTI was a good package but a higher than Velocity for the same HP. But check around and talk to the people who do the packages! Pick the tunner that will give you what YOU are looking for. :seeya

Name recognition, and credentials are worth more $$$$, as is a warranty......
There are guy's out there.....(wherever) that can do as well or better.....out of their garage.........
BUT, what good does it do to trust your 50k mochine to someone you never heard of, and even if you have, IF they don't do it right, you have NO recourse as they are bone dog poor....no insurance, no bonding, no liability............NO HELP........if you have a problem.
ALL my life, when trying to save the most $$$$$$ I can/could..........I ALWAYS wound up......the loser, going with price as a major consideration......a GOOD price is only as good as the quality, and Value of goods/services provided, and back up after the sale...........
This is the criterion one should use in all things one purchases in life............
For me, the old adage applies.......
" I am too poor to buy inexpensive things". ;)
