Default HUD gas gauge

My HUD gas gauge doesn't display equally with the analog gas gauge. The HUD reads lower. Anyone ever have this?

Cant say Ive seen a big discrepancy but I only use it as a guide. Cant beat an analogue gauge when the gas is low

Mine seems pretty accurate. There are (I think) 8 bars on the HUD. When my gauge gets to about 7/8ths, one of the little bars on the HUD disappear. At 1/2, 4 disappear. Not to say it happens simultaneously but it is pretty close.

Given I hardly ever let the tank get much below 1/2 it is not really an issue.

When you say yours is inaccurate, maybe you need to be more specific. Like posting a picture of your dash's gauge and HUD together so we can see?

When I fill up and the analog shows full the HUD only shows 5/8.

8 bars when full. Each bar represents about two gallons of gas in my display. It seems to parallel the analog guage in terms of accuracy.
