Hey everyone, I'm new to the forum and need some advice. We have a 2000 C5 and would like to get the B&B Bullet system with quad tips. I'm just curious, what does everyone think of the Bullet set up? Easy install? performance?. We love the sound, looks, and HP gains! If anyone has pics of this exhaust on their C5 could you please attach them. Thanks guy's look forward to hearing from you!
I don't think they are very loud, but I have slight hearing damage from music performance.
Same here, but from Helicopters.
I sell the Bullets, love the sound and if you are into a good high volume exhaust you will love it too. I have one set in stock as a matter of fact and I offer forum member discounts.
I have not had the opportunity to hear the B&B Bullets in person. In decibels, how do they compare with the Corsa Pace Car or Borla Stingers? I have heard them, but the Borla has a burble sound at idle, which i don't like. I really want something deeper/louder than stock, but would like to be able to talk to my wife when traveling.
Don't mean to hi-jack the thread, just useful info for guys that don't know...
Thanks.........

If you want to talk to your wife in the car, don't get the Bullets, they are pretty loud, and inside the car there is a good amount of drone. Your wife might not like the constant drone. Best advice I can give you is go listen in person to another forum members car, listen outside the car AND inside the car.
Good luck

Corsa has better engineering behind it. (And they are GM approved)
I had B&B Bullets with LG Pro longtubes. I loved them, but it had a strong resonance around 2500rpm. I lived with it and got a sound partition. Once I got my heads/cam upgrade the B&B Bullets had to go. It was WAY to loud, and the resonance rattled my doors, and dash. I got the Corsa's and the resonance disapeared. Its still got a great sound, just not as loud as before.
It depends on what your future mods are. If you go with heads/cam at a later date then you might want to re-consider the Bullets.

Volume is relative and everyone will have their opinion. I like the bullets on the vette but I also think that they are loud. Your wife may not like them because they are loud in the cabin section as well. On long road trips they may get annoying. The Pace Car is a much more "socially acceptable" exhaust. Loud at WOT and quiet at idle and cruise. Corsa's are definitely the most popular, but if you want something that just sounds powerful, the Bullets will be just fine

This
plus this
equals about 101 dB at idle from 10ft. And 130dB revving it. (Also from 10ft.)
Now i have a heads and cam package, and need to remeasure to see how loud it is.
Keep in mind - 130 dB is the pain threshold, and from 10ft away, your ears will hurt when i rev my engine, now w/ the H/C package, it's even louder!
Also, keep in mind A4 vs M6. With the automatic - you're frequently stuck in a resonating frequency droning your head off... but with a M6 - you can pick a slightly lower gear, and get out of the resonance. I get resonance/drone around 2000-2400, but i'm never just Sitting in that RPM range, cause i have a M6... i'll just up shift and keep it around 1700...

They are "LOUD" but sound awesome!!!!...love the deep throaty tone they produce....
Here's a clip of mine. Keep in mind, this is with a highly modified head/cam motor, LG Long Tubes, and No Cats....
