It CAN be done - my issue was scraping up against tree roots and stuff on the way into the site. This was at Carlisle a few years ago. Based on my exp at the fleabag hotel I stayed at last year - I may try it again. I'd bring a light cover to keep the sap, etc off. I just had a tent, air mattress, light sleeping bag, pillow, folding chair, fan (for inside the tent - it was warm - Coleman makes a decent one), and a small burner and pan for making coffee in the AM - no other cooking at the site.

I noticed I replied back in 2007, we still camp nearly every weekend in the summer and fall, still have the boat but the motor home got bigger!
