New ForgeLine SS3P wheels
Hi all,
A few months ago I posted up that ForgeLine was going to be making some new wheel designs. We just received our first set of the new SS3P that is going on our in house 2008 LS3 R&D car along with Z06 rear fenders to take the massive 20x13" rear wheels. The fronts are a 19x9.5 and are built to house a new HUGE StopTech kit.
Tires shown are Michelin 275/30/19 and 325/25/20's (345's were on back order at the time ).
I know the famous question, how big are the lips? Since these were built to cover a large brake kit, soon to be shown, they need a lot of spoke to caliper clearance and the lip has to be done smaller to do so. The front is a 1" lip, and the rear is a 2.75". Again if you were using standard brakes we can increase this but it will decrease the brake room.
Wheels shown with polished lips, Gunmetal powder coated centers, and black powder coated inners. Standard hardware shown as well. Titanium bolts and jet nuts are optional.
Once the body work is complete I will have pictures of the wheels on the car .

Depends on size and finish what the final price would be but most Corvette fitments start just under $4000 for the P series wheels. The R series race wheels are a bit less expensive.
Those looks nice...Pm me a price for 18x10fronts and 18x11 rear for a C5 '03 Z06. I'd also like to know what each wheel weighs for these sizes. I refuse to add unsprung weight and lessen the performance of my ride.

Of course if you are going way bigger than factory sized wheels, and do something in an all chrome finish you can get a heavier wheel, but size for size ForgeLine's are going to be a lighter wheel than stock. The other nice thing about them is that most of the mass is concentrated in the middle of the wheel making for a very strong flange that the hoops ride on so there is little deflection. The hoops themselves are a spun hoop taking a lot of weight out of the most critical area, the far outside, what is spinning the fastest.
