How does the price compare to the RPI? I am not in any hurry and I can wait. I'd love to see how your's turns out and how it looks. On some of the other ones, and I don't know if this includes the RPI brand, but they seem to be "heat activated". I guess you are to use a hair dryer or industrial type heat gun to set the adhesive. Have you already detailed the underhood blanket by removing it and painting it? And of course to keep the other CF members happy.....Pictures....we must have pictures! When you get it installed! Dan
Other than the ones that are painted on, I think they're all heat activated.
The RPI one is around $50. I'm guessing the Cyberdyne Graphics one will be slightly higher (if he ever gets it to market). No, I haven't prepped my hood yet. I'm going to have a friend install mine. He first heated his hood blanket with a heat gun, then painted it before applying the decal and heating it. Turned out real nice. I'll have to ask him again where he got it.
And yes, you'll get pics after it's installed. I'm also dying to show off all my polished stainless covers I just installed. Please stand by.
stitched is the best it looks great. I can't remember where I got mine but it was like 320. Just do a search online. I'll post pics later if you wanna see.

Here is a pic of mine. I removed hood pad and wiped down with damp cloth. Then I used a heat gun to dry and smooth out pad by almost burning all of the fuzz and shrinking it. I laid the decal down and slowly heated it and tapped it down with a sock over my hand. I got it hot enough to conform to patern in hood pad. It now looks like it is painted on.
I am going to try this one myself, is that the one your are talking about?
These are great ones! Licensed by GM and stick like glue. We've got them in stock too!

I bought mine from an ebay vendor. I cleaned the hood liner and painted it with black bbq grill paint. I installed it in August of 06 and here is what it looks like today.
