So yeah, I bumped the curb with my back left tire last week (being an idiot with traction control off) and now randomly when i start my 97 vette (usually the first couple starts) and it cycles through all 4 tires giving the message Low Tire Press LR, Low Tire Press FR, etc. I may have messed up tire pressure sensor they talk about in this thread: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...ff+tire+sensor
but i didnt see any help for a 97, and a way of turning of the tire pressure sensor, or where to look to see if it is loose or something. Wierd that all 4 get set off when i only hit the one tire. Any thoughts guys? Thanks
Key Fob works fine. Also wierd that it doesnt happen every time i start the car. It says the pressure is at 25 in all tires too, and the tires are right where they should be.
Isn't 25 PSI about 5 PSI . low?
I thought 30 was the correct pressure. I know when I have one get down to 25 I get a warning on that wheel. (I do have a real slow leak in one wheel) It drops about 5 PSI in three weeks or so,
