My RF sensor indicates RF _ _ _ _ the rest have readings, has it gone bad? I have not had the car long, but set all TP with manual gage to 30 psi. I do not have an alarm from it. Can it be re-programed? And can you just do that one? The rest are good.
Thanks,
I have the program doc.

It may have finally died. You can re-program, but I think you'll have to follow the sequence however. No problem though as it only takes a minute or so for all of them anyway.
BTW, your thread title had me thinking it was about the Throttle Position Sensor. You're actually dealing with the Tire Pressure Monitor system (TPM).

No problem. The main reason I even mentioned it at all is the fact that many times potential posters may see a thread title and skip right over it thinking it's not something they're interested in and in fact may have very useful/helpful info on the subject.
BTW, have you found or bought a magnet for the reprogramming yet? Nothing special is required in case you're wondering.
No I have not purchased a MAGNET, but will. Am curious of the placement of it.
All you need is a big magnet. Use the one on the back of an old speaker and follow the instructions in the manual to reset the system. If it wont reset you'll need a new sensor. Gene Culley will see you right.

The TPM sensor is permanently attached to the valve stem (which by the way serves as the antenna for transmitting the signal to the receiver) and requires the tire to be deflated and the bead broken down on the outside edge. The old sensor can then be removed and the new one inserted from inside the rim. It's all held together by the nut you see on the outside. BTW, when tightening the nut be very very careful to NOT overtorque it. The nut (13mm) is aluminum and should see a torque value of 106 [B] inch pounds (NOT foot pounds) or 12 Nm. One drop of Loc-Tite blue should be applied to the threads before tightening too as several people have experienced a slow loosening over time resulting in a slow leak.
