As someone who has dealt with custom bike components for years, if they are indeed waiting for items from the chromer, 6-8 weeks is nothing unusual.

Flip through the pages of their 2007 catalog...

But like I said, they have nice customer service and very professional marketing (website, catalog, etc.) so if you're happy them I'm happy for you!

I have nothing but good things to say about WCC. In fact, I had purchased at their facility in Anaheim (which is very nice by the way) a Corsa Pace Car exhaust. Two days later, they ran a special for CF members. Being a CF member, I contacted them and they gave me a $120 credit... now that's what I call customer service. I'll also say I think their catalogs are one of the nicest.

IMHO, WCC is one to the best vendors on this site. Including some misc. parts and such, I bought both of my C5's from them. Great company to deal with.

Purchased from them many times and have had no issues at all. Outstanding service.

I have not dealt with WCC. But I did just buy wheels from CCW.
Ordered on Friday, were machined and polished in one week with tires mounted. I doubt this would be the hold up unless it is something to do with the relationship ending because WCC is launching their own wheels and becoming ccw's competitor. Have you tried calling CCW?
Good Luck savage1

Like I said in my original note, I'm really not wanting to get into it right now, and you certainly don't want to see anything about this on the forum. Sorry - Ron

I sure would like an email or something to find out why you are upset. I dont like for any of our customers to be upset with WCC.

I've had both a few good and bad experiences with WCC. Overall, their pretty good though. I never see them here on the forum unless there name pops up with a problem. As far as your wait, I'm sure they're waiting on the chromer. If they use who I think they use for chroming, they lag and have excuses. I have CCW's and chromed them on my own and waited about 6 weeks. I'm sure WCC is waiting for that, otherwise they'll get it out to you asap.

"Like I said in my original note, I'm not wanting to get into it right now" Then why bring it up?

"and you certainly don't want to see anything about this on the forum" Well, you've already threw it out to the forum with a negative conatation placing a well respective vendor on "the defensive" unable to respond or defend himself on this forum. All we do know is that he (the vendor) is trying to rectify the situation that you brought up but not following through with.

Paul, I appreciate your concern. I talked with Matt (the owner) to get this cleared up a week or two before you saw this post. The matter is still yet to be resolved. I will be happy to email you with the details if you think it may help. My email is schmaltz.r@verizon.net. Send me your email address to my address, and I will reply with the details.

Don't trash somebody without giving them the right to defend themselves.
