It is great for the passenger because it is on the door and does not interfere with thier legroom like just about every other cupholder out there.

I got the single travel buddy like they sell at Mid America, works great and looks like it belongs in a Vette. Gained a couple of HP too

Can you fit a 20oz or 24oz Plastic soda Bottle in them, I dont like open cans in my car?

This works great for me. I modified a double cup holder into just one. Holds every kind of container I can think of.
Could easily been removed when not in use but I use it all the time and decided to use a tiny screw to keep it secure. It doesnt move.
I think I got it from Corvette Central.
