It's obvious a Corvette is a car that makes a statement. This being said, what does your car say about you?
mine:
What I think my car says about me (voice of car): My driver has a dark/mysterious outer persona. Those who are privileged enough to get past the outer "mask" learn that he's quite fun on the inside. He prefers to make his environment comfortable than move somewhere else. First, make it work, THEN make it look good. While he does keep me reasonably clean (except under the hood) he refuses to have me detailed because of the amount of road time we see.

Apparently, mine calls to the owners of Buick Grand National's with 800hp and challenges them to race... as she did today.
.... no... I didn't. Even though he said he'd give me a car length and the jump.... I told 'em maybe I'll see him on the track one day. What a "car show" experience...
One of my buddies told me, "Coming up from behind, it's says get out of my way"....

Well Lets see.
The '99 is saying "Would you please put me back together"
The '90 ZR1 is saying "Would you please take me out of this garage and drive me"
Mines says that I am an outcast since I am young Asian guy and my environment tells me that I should be driving a Infiniti G35, EVO, STI, 350Z, Bimmer, or a Mercedes.
P.S. I am from a heavily populated Asian part of So. Cal so the above cars I mentioned are driven mostly by the young Asian crowd and I get many comments and strange stares when I am driving the Vette
Never forget that I am capable of doing things, and taking you places, that will be more fun than you can imagine. Disrespect me, or forget that I am more capable than you, and we can both end up in places neither of us wants to be!
As for what it says to others about me...I don't really give a darn!
Designer Imagines A Corvette That Looks More Like a Corvette Than the Corvette
Slideshow: A Jaguar designer's personal project imagines what a modern front-engined Corvette might look like if Chevrolet revisited the golden age of the Stingray.
