I will take you up on this if thats the problem. I dont think anything is broken though. Took it to a local Vette dealer and a few guys looked at it and didn't know what the problem was either and said to bring it back Thur when the Vette tech was in (he's in everyday, but till 7 on Thur).

my lower part just failed too, it seemed like it just won't move, I haven't messed with it yet, but it just up and stopped working, then I pushed on it so hard that it fell into the console, I'm gonna look at it and try to fix it, if its broken i'll buy a new lower receptor part.

do you need just wheels or wheels AND tires?? I bought my polished thin spokes and tires on ebay from OE Wheels. total to my door was about $1200. is that reasonable?? They also have polished z06 wheels + tires for about 200 more. the z06s would look tough as hell on that black vette!!

I actually posted a thread about the ebay OE wheels. They're the ones I'm leaning towards right now. I dont really need the rubber so I'll probably just order the wheels. I believe he said they'd sell the wheels for 606 otd. Then it'd cost 120 to get them balanced and mounted. So, I'm not sure if the tires are worth the extra 500. My fronts are fine, backs are getting worn (guess 10k miles left on em).
Question - If I get the wheels and tires do they come with sensors?
