Well I just pulled the trigger on a set of CCW C-14 I wasn’t planning on buying them until next year, I was planning on running my C-5 Z06 replica rears 18 X 12 and C-5 Z06 factory 18 X 10.5 up front until Feb. 2008. I didn’t have a problem with the above setup other than the fact I need spacers up front due to the close proximity of the spokes and brake caliper. I had spoken to John and "CCW" staff several times he has always been professional even though my questions probably seemed redundant. John told me that 18X11 up front and 18X13 in the rear is the hot setup for running quickly around a road course. Did anyone transition or have first hand knowledge of someone that transitioned from a smaller size wheel package to the 18X11 18X13 setup?

I run 18x12 front and 18x13 rear CCW Classic Tracks, and for the street I use 18x10 front and 18x12 CCW Classic Street
On the track you will be fine. It does take a lap of so to heat up that much tire go get good stick.
The only thing for driving on the street with large tires, you will find every crack in the road that runs parallel with your car. If your wide tire is 1/2 on one side of a big crack and 1/2 on a lower portion, the car tends to fall down to the lower pavement level.
For the street use, I would prefer 18x275/30 f and 18x305/30 rear

OK cool this setup is for track purposes only
thanks
Marc
These are still up for sale, used twice
