yes, because the factory ran out of the 'regular' motors. make perfect sense to me. -bmb

Well, gosh, didn't you know my 1998 dynoed 352hp at the rear wheels... They obviously UNDER RATE them to keep the insurance down....

In 1999 they ran out of LS1 engines so they had to put a C5R 427 in mine. You can tell it's a 427 by the special "427" stickers I stuck on the valve covers.
