My vert has a Z06 engine in it....but it is also common knowledge that in 2001 the LS6 block was used in most (if not all) of the Vettes.
Now if it was only set up and ran like the ones they put in the Z06's...THAT would be

Wtf
"The engineers have told the owner they ran out of the 345 hp engines at the factory and could not account for 2 of their higher horsepower engines." A GM employee copped em' piece by piece, the line crew still a lil miffed about a new GM policy pulled a fast one.
Yea, I have the other lost engine, I needed more power in my riding lawn tractor....now I gota buy mods for my John Deere...

All he has to do is check the head casting number for 243. The only difference between the LS6 and the LS1 in 2004 are the heads, cam, and injectors. It is entirely possible that he has what he says. It really isn't that big of deal.

You'd think the engineers would know that the 2004 engines were 350hp, not 345, wouldn't you.

The engineers ran out of the leather/vinyl combination for the seats in my car and used Japanese Akita instead. It's barking sweet!
