Good price for a vert, IF it's as good as he says...

The C5 makes an excellent daily driver. I tend to get anywhere from 20-31 mpg. It all depends on the way I am driving to be honest and the amount of traffic. While on highway trips I can easily get 31mpg though. When I tell my friends about the mileage they are pretty much shocked. It is hard to believe that you are driving in a sports car which can get up and go because the drive is so comfortable.

$17,000 for a '98 vert with 33K miles sounds like a very good deal to me.

If you drive conservatively, you can get over 30MPG on the freeway.

Absolutely! With an open road (i.e., not a lot of traffic) and fairly level terrain, I got almost 33 once (32.9 to be exact)!
