You blend the paint out and clear the entire door. With most colors you'll have to blend and clear the 1/4 panel too.

Key fob w/ poppers and a popper hidden on the car and a manual pull chord hidden somewhere.

Yeah... Gary shaved the mirrors... we put cameras in the fenders that play through his computer screen in the dash... it's incredble.

I love the way it looks on Gary's but Mike's does not grab me as much, but I really think it is because of the lighter color of Mike's car.
They did a really good job on them...they look like the doors were made that way...anyone interested in doing this but wanted to see a car, I would reccomend one of these two.
I forgot who asked the paint question, but I have three words concerning that, blend, Blend, & BLEND.

as noted, SMC is tough to work with, it's not excluvise to the C5's, most of the trucks you see on the road today are made out of SMC

hey don't count me out!!!!
Is there really only four people on this forum that has the guts to do this?!?!? haha, i love the way it looks!
an alternative way, and much cheaper and easier way to open the doors is to use the WINDOW VALET, roll your windows down and open the door from the inside, and get out and roll them up! May not be ideal, but works for me!
i also have a few of the whole process if anybody wants me to post them up, i will be happy to. Me and a friend did mine too. He is the one that painted my car also!
