When I get around to them I will brush paint the calipers and brackets (I'll get a nice brush). I'll remove the calipers from the rotors but not from the lines.
Did mine on the car, I put it up on jack stands,used a brush and took my time.Painted the brkts gloss black. I did them over a year ago and they still look good.
Did mine on the car but removed from the brackets, Used dupli-color and taped up brakeline fitting, used krylon high temp spray paint on brackets, took pretty much the whole day to do. I have also painted the center of the rotors with high temp black since photos were taken.
Well...with the new wheels...The Widowmaker needed to go back from red on black to black on red calipers. You can see my old caliper in My Corvette Pictures...here is some pics from Saturday:
no...the trash bag and then a few more newspapers will do the trick. In my case, it was a nice calm non-windy day so it was not even a factor...otherwise we would've done it in the garage.
