I put a amp and sub in my car today and got everything running right finally. I was just out in garage looking at my car and noticed that tail lights didn't come on when I hit the unlock button on my keyless entry but the reverse lghts came on as usual. So I went and turned my lights on and the tailights, and turn signal lights will not come on but my HID's came on but will not go back down.
I think I've blew a fuse of some sort. Can somebody help me out. Thanks in advance!
hopefully a simple fuse problem, there is a fuse panel under the hood and another one under the dash on the passenger's side. I don't recall off hand which one has the fuse for the tail lights, but I'd check there. if you were messing with the wires its possible you shorted something.

Very true....I tied my remote wire to one of those fuses. Anybody ever had this to happen to them?
I had my power wire run into a fuse in the passenger side footwell and it was blowing #6 fuse which said PK T/LP. I then took out the remote wire for my amp and tried replacing the fuse and it blew 2 more. I didn't have this problem before. Anybody got any ideas?
It sounds like you have a wire with a direct short somewhere if you removed the lead off and it is still blowing fuses....somewhere in there I bet a wire has gotten crushed up on a ground somewhere. The stereo is not blowing any fuses, just the lights now?...I'd check and make sure a ground off the cars lights didn't get crossed with a power on the stereo in there....I don't know how involved the install was, but I've seen some where there were wires everywhere, it scared me just seeing that mess of wires..
Other than looking for a crossed wire I don't really know what else it might be.....you may simply have to recheck EVERY wire until you find where the problem is.

Maybe you are not aware, but you can run a power lead directly to the + battery terminal and avoid all of that risk. There is a hole in the door hinge area through which you can snake a wire...just use a flashlight and poke around the accordian cover and you will see it.
Are you refering to the power wire or the remote turn on wire for the amp? I have the power wire going to the battery terminal.
