Default Simple question

may sound stupid, but has anyone had fan/blower problems with their vent system? #1 and #2 will not blow when turned on. #3 blows out like a hurricane. Anyone ever had this happen or heard of this. Wondering if it's the fan motor, vacum houses or a fuse. Any help would be great.

If it is like my Trailblazer, there is a "blower motor resistor" ( that is what GM and other autoparts sources call it) that adjusts the power flow to the fan, at lower speeds the power is routed through the variable resistor resulting in variable fan speeds. In the highest setting, the resistor is bypassed. What you describe is exactly what I experienced in the TrailBlazer.
It sounds like yours is toast...
It is a simple plug and play part on the side of the blower motor housing. On the TB is cost me about $30...
I suspect the Vette blower works the same way, but am sure their is Corvette tax involved in the price.

On the Trailblazer it was located behind the glove box and could be accessed wither from below or by removing the glove box door. It took about 20 minutes for the R&R.

I had to replace the resistor on my Jeep once to cure the same symptoms. The danger with not replacing it (not sure if this applies to the vette, but it did on the Jeep) is that the wires can overheat and melt.
