You guys weren't kidding about the wave! Out and about after work today I got 2 waves and 1 honk (and of course I retured the gesture). This is awesome! 
Oh..and I finally really got on her. There is a well lit, divided, 3 line wide (each way), long, straight, slightly downhill road near my appartment with one stop sign and then flat out for at least a 1/4 of a mile. I always here people getting on it there. Anywho, I took "the long way home" and decided I'd really just go ***** to the wall (I've got on her many times before, but not like this). Took a nice slow stop at the sign and BAM!! TC or not, I spun first longer than I expected and was very surprised by how hard I pulled 2nd (chirped 'em). I got third perfectly and stayed in that for a few seconds before backing off.
This kind of power makes you go

This was all after a nice wash and a nice chillin' cruise of the Strip.

Very nice vette... and ohhh yeah... waves, revs and honks... and people following you onto parkinglots just to meet you because you also own a corvette. Its awesome!!! Corvettes are cool, the drivers are mostly awesome and this message board kicks .... behind! (gotta watch ur language)

The car looks good
I haven't gotten a wave in a couple weeks, car in shop this week. But i got one today on the way to work and it just makes you happy. I feel the same way about our cars. Real fun and great cars with an aswesome community of drivers.

Pewter is sweet indeed, was my first before I had this deal with the black one fall in my lap!
Also, its hard to argue with swirl gray.... and red, yellow, blue, magenta..... it goes on.
How is Branson this time of year? All the tourist leave yet?
