I see stupid people everywhere!!

You can rotate the tires from side to side.
I have a spare wheel and tire for the front and rear, and I rotate them onto the car every 6,000 miles to wear all the tires evenly.

The tires are directional and cannot be rotated side to side either.

Pontiac used to make that offer almost every time I was in for an oil change with the GXP. Once, the service manager got uppity and said I was knowingly going to void my Potenza's guaranty. She felt pretty stupid when I explained the fronts were wider than the rears and couldn't be rotated! Some guys at ClubGp.com said their tires where rotated without asking first. They had to be changed back after they found out about it!

Goodyear F1 Supercar. They are not directional. They are asymmetric. You can move front left/right and rear left/right as often as you want. Though on a street car it isn't going to help much. For track use, since most road courses have you turning right more. Moving left to right at the end of each day balances out the wear.

And even though they are asymmetric. Since the outside edge takes a beating on track. I had them flipped inside out. Would be really bad in rain. But in dry. You would be surprised how much grip they give mounted the wrong way... I squeezed 2 more weekends out of them like that

Best regards,

Steve,

Yes we do. I'm not sure that's a good thing for either of us

Let me know when you're ready to hit the track I can send them out. You're going to have to pay airfare and maintenance though. You think a Z06 is expensive to keep... these gals are very high maintenance

You may not thank me later when you get the bill

Change service writer. Ask service mgr which service writer most customers feel comfortable with. Unless he is a jerk, he will tell you.

If no good response, change dealerships.

Hey, I saw them first. Butt out, man. Settle down before we have something to settle up.

I can freely say this because we are probably thousands of miles away from each other.

LOL

F1 supercar tires are asymmetric (there is an inside and outside), but they are not directional.

Oops! Someone already said that. And they even know how to spell asymmetric.

True....but many are running non F1 supercar tires. My BFG KDW2s ARE directional and cannot be rotated.

BlackZ06 and Z06BigBird -

Ok boys let's not fight... I doubt either of you could handle all 6 of them anyway

Since it's Steve's birthday and he did ask 1st. I can send them out to CA for a day and then have them stop in TX on the way back. It'll save you both money. You can split the airfare. So play nice, it's cost effective

I'll let the maintenance slide this one time. But that's it. You think all those leather outfits and other accessories (whips and chains ), makeup, private memberships to the spa and beauty salon are free? They're killing me... Then there is putting them up in their own place too. My wife refuses to let them stay at the house for some reason...

Oh and so we don't loose sight of the tire story... All these ladies are symmetric and directional. Feel free to rotate as needed
