Default OIL LIGHT QUESTION !! Please Help

Does anyone know how low on Engine oil your C5 Z06 is when the Low OIL Message is displayed? Does the Message display when it a Quart LOW or Lower? Anyone Know?

I Ran my C5 Z06 very hard mostly between 3000 and 5500 Rpm for the last 800 Miles. (Driving Cross Country Following my Buddies Supra Turbo) And the Low Oil Message was displayed.. I checked the Oil. It was Low.. I Added a Quart to bring the oil level in the center or the cross hairs on the dip stick.. Everything Seems Fine.. Anyone else know if this Problem? I only use Mobile One.. Car only has 19000 miles.. I do know you the Oil consumption Problem is this it? Do I have anything to worry about?

Oil should be added to the "FULL" line.

As to when Low Oil is displayed on the DIC - this can occur (spirited driving) at almost any level below full.

What does the manual gage indicate the oil pressure is at idle (after warm up)? Normal driving (50MPH or so, and engine warm)?

Again, make sure the oil is to the "FULL" line.
