Does anyone have an aftermarket spoiler with a distinct splitter
at the lip? I would really like to replace the stock unit, but so far
don't like what I see out there.
Can anyone with this type of front chin spoiler tell me how much below the black stock spoiler pieces the after market one sits? I just had C6Z06 shocks installed and lowered about an extra 1/2-1 inch. I scrape in my garage at work and just wanted to know if I'm just scraping a little bit will it be fine or will it scrape too.

Actually the ACI spoiler sits a little bit higher than the stock rubber ones BUT it extends to the front a lot more so entering driveways, etc is more of a challenge.
Plus you have to find a whole new respect for curbs and parking blocks as the spoiler will be in a direct line to most of them. Mine has never scraped on anything other than the steeper driveways but my car isn't lowered.

Well the parking spot bumpers I'm not worried about because I usually back into those spots and my exhaust sits just above them, kinda perfect. But the drive ways and garages are what will get me then. My work garage has a few levels and the ramps are real steep. I scrape just going down the ramps. My work is moving to a new office next year anyway so I'll just wait and see what it looks like then for me. Thanks for the info

The front air dam your speaking of sits 2 or 3 inches lower than the ACI front spoiler if my memory serves me correctly. If your just barely scraping the air dam you should be ok. I think I'm an 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 lower than stock, been so long now I can't remember exactly. I always take entrances at 45 degree angles and slowly. Also, when pulling into a parking spot with a concrete bumper I always back in. You just have to be a little more careful.

We are down here in OC for the FreeState Corvette Event "Thunder on the Boards". Let me tell you getting into the Holiday Inn parking lot is a challenge. We both have ACI Chin spoilers. But if you come in at an angle and slow no problem. You just have to be aware of the new lowered front part of the car. And both of our cars are at stock hight.
