I had a flat tire.....
I have about 16K miles on the original Goodyear EMT's. The right rear tire was showing low pressure. The warning came up on the dash. I took the wheel off the car and found a nail in the tread. I took it to a Discount tire store by my house. They dismounted the tire and used a patch and plug type of repair. Rebalanced the wheel and gave it back to me. Here is the thing, it was FREE. They dont charge for flat repairs.

Free, wow. Cost me $25 for the same service while on a trip and I was just glad the tire wasn't shot. Best $25 I ever paid, free is even better but I seriously doubt they would do that here.

The Discount Tire stores in my area will repair ANY make tire for free. I guess they are buying goodwill from what they consider to be a potential or future customer.

Good deal there. Most places charge a small fortune to repair a runflat.
