This thread has gotten to be funny. I think everyone should make their cars all look alike. If we could all get our cars to look like Peter Pans or Z06 Jim, we might all be satisfied.

True Enough!!
I really don't think it's having a wing that seems to be the dividing issue but rather the style/size of the wing. Even as BCG says, she's looking for a SUBTLE wing ( low profile, no doubt ) to accentuate the lines of her C5 ( as am I ). 
However, I've gone as far as to tell my bodyman NOT to install the Eckler's wing that I posted for BCG's viewing until I give the OK. I'm gonna just sit the wing on my car then step back & look to see if I do indeed like it. If I don't, then maybe I'll sell it to BCG!! Yep, I'd like my C5 to look like Z06Jim's or better yet, run like eb02z06's ( Arun )

What do you know? You've got a rustang. Go play with your own kind, and leave us alone Mr. Wannabe. Aren't rustang owners capable of creating a forum for themselves, or do they have to get their kicks vicariously by doing a voyeur routine on someone else's site?
By the way BCG, why not go with a Vararam or Calloway Honker for your intake, and headers with a Corsa Touring or Pace car exhaust ( no drone like the SLP's). Then you can go with gears, a TC, with a tune, before you decide to get into engine work. You'll get much better HP and performance with these mods. Do a search, and check it out. The intake makes a big SOTP difference, and doesn't cost too much for a first mod. The other things can get $$$, but you can do it in phases.

Actually, I take that back, evryone install a wing. If a bunch of folks install wings on their vettes, it just makes my wing-less vette look better.

My mistake it wasn't the 80's, it was the 17 year old ghetto rat from down the street. His **** box, with the fart can... isn't running right, so he is going to put a wing on it...to make it "look faster".

I'm not trying to control anyones anything. I suggested everyone get a wing. You should get two.

Forums are made for information and opinions. We are all entitled to contribute or receive both. If you don't like someones opinions, don't post a comment directed toward them. Try skipping over it or ignoring it, you would be surprised what you can do, if you just put your mind to it.
If you can't take a little harmless banter, your probably a little thin skinned and Corvette Forum comments and opinions... you don't agree with, are the least of your worries.
Did I get offended when someone referred to me as a "****"? NO, and notice no one had an issue with the fella that catagorizes people as **** for havning their own opinions. Classic!

Jeff - Yep, I had to go back to BCG's original post & read it again & NOWHERE in it did I read her ask anyone/everyone here what they thought of adding a wing to her C5.
. Her words about her C4 were quite clear - she simply likes the look of a wing on her 'Vette - PERIOD!! Yes, she was advised to don a "flame suit" 
& certainly she has ( unwittingly ) stirred up a hornet's nest between the purists who don't like wings vs those of us who don't see a problem w/a little custom work. . As I said before, as long as I pay the bill on my 'Vette then I'm gonna do what makes me happy 
. Of course, if some of the good folks here on CF.com want to pay me to NOT add that Ecklers wing to my C5, well, $$ talks!! 
I'd certainly like to think that there's room for both types to peacefully coexist but I suppose if it wasn't "wing vs no wing" then it would be "turbo vs supercharger"; "manual vs automatic" or something else!!

You attacked an insulted the original poster because YOU have some personal issue with certain types of spoilers. Hardly what I would call just innocently having your own opinion. The OP didn't ask if you LIKED spoilers. She asked where to FIND spoilers. Have you ever considered Specter Werkes Group 5 Corvette C5 GTR rear fascia with the built in spoiler? To me that looks really clean and it adds a subtle bit of flare to the Corvette.
