I've searched and found a ton of info on a subject similar to this but I think I have a slightly different problem that I could use some help on. '02 C5, drivers window switch does not work for the drivers door lock or the drivers window, doesn't even click. The mirrors will adjust and the passenger window will operate from the drivers switch. But when I try and operate the drivers window and/or lock I don't even hear a click. I've tried banging the door panel while using the switch, I've tried moving the wire harness in the jamb while moving the switch, I've even checked the pin fit on the switch. One other thing, the drivers door used to unlock with the fob but would not lock, now it won't do either. I've ordered both relays from digikey but I'm not so sure that will solve my problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The first thing I would do is check the switch for continuity with a meter. It is possible the switch has just quit working. Also, check fuses for the window and door lock.
Those commands go directly into the left door control module. I would remove the door panel trim and look at the connectors on the LDCM. Check for water damage or corrosion on the contacts.
If the fobs wont work it MUST be in the control module
I had a problem Locking and Unlocking the doors with the driver control switch. It really was the switch gone bad inside the flimsy electronic switch mechanism that has mirrors, memory, windows, and lock/unlock.
Luckily I found a USED but GOOD switch module on fleebay for about $35 while the new one was about $100. Your problem sounds like its in the door control module. If it was just in the switch the fobs should still work. BIGHANK

I'd trace the wiring from the connector in the door jamb through to the LDCM. Look for corrosion or bad connectors. If not I'd guess that its the module gone bad and the relays may fix it.

And take a look at the female sides of all those connectors. I've found them open so far that the male pin won't make contact. Reshape them as you might need to insure you've got good contacts.
Thanx to all for your replies. This forum is an awesome resource and just a darn fun place to hang out. If I get this thing figured out we're havin' beers at my place!
Thanx for all of your excellent suggestions. Here's what the out come was. I replaced the relays in the LDCM because of the commonality of the problem. After replacing the relays the door worked perfectly for exactly 30 minutes then it went back to its old ways. I pulled the door panel off again last night and found the grey wire, black wire and green wire in the harness underneath the foam wrap crushed by the #30 torx screw that secures the door panel behind the grab handle. I repaired the wires with butt connectors. It's been longer than 30 minutes so I'm assuming all is well.
Thanx again for taking the time to read and respond.
