Codes P1275 & P1276
Hi all, new member here.
I drove the '02 Z06 which I just bought from AZ to VA (~2500 miles) and with about 100 miles to go, the check engine light came on. A quick check of the engine and DIC showed nothing out of the ordinary, so I chanced it and arrived home ok. I then found out how to access the codes in the DIC and P1275 and P1276 are showing as current. These are for Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor 1 (Circuit & Performance), which relate to the Throttle Actuator Control module.
I was able to clear the history codes, but these current ones won't clear. I'm stuck in a bind, because I need to get the car checked for emissions ASAP in order to register it; from what I read before, a check engine light will prevent it from passing emissions.
Any advice or help would be much appreciated!
