you prob did the 2nd recall. CLB will only work perfect with zero recalls done. you can get away with 1st recall but thats all.

This is an entry from the Vehicle Claim History Report on my 2001 MN6 Vert:
09/21/2004 185190 0 E7501 - LOCKING PARTS, RACK/SECTOR/LOCK BOLT/ACTUATOR ROD, STEERIN 34323 miles
Is this a recall repair?
I have a CLB still sitting here in its plastic bag and not sure if I should install it if the recall work has been done.

I think that if i where you id still put the CLB on.if the steering wheel locks when the car is off,it could still happen.I think GM kind of botched the recall on this issue.Hopefully someone can chime in here, and tll you more.I put mine on when i first got the car,it put me at ease knowing the wheel CANT lock. DO IT.

I guess you could alway buy one and leave it in the glove box if you dont want to install it. Because one day, like it or not, your going to need it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
