Looking for Light Pattern Pics from Projector headlights.
I really can't stand the headlight pattern from the stock headlights. Even with HID bulbs i still get hot spots. I'd really like to get a set of projectors but I'd really like to see how the perform before I go carrying a years worth of coin rolls to the bank.
Here's a couple, but you can also go to this thread to see a ton more that I took when I installed mine. I think these are the same thing that Tbryne sells.

I couldn't tell you for certain if they are ACA, but I'm almost positive they are the same thing that Tbyrne sells. I got mine from a former vendor who's name is generally forbidden to speak.
Anyway, it's my understanding that Tbyrne and Corvette Garage sells the same thing as what's on my car.

jim,
if you look at the lettering at the bottom of your lense, you should see the "ACA" manufacturer's name on it.
this pic wasn't taken close enough to show up, but it's there.

I never understood what happened to that guy? If you can't speak about it on here would you pm me about it?
I have a question about this picture. Is that a clear lens cover over the stock headlight assembly or was the whole light assembly part of your HID package? If it's just a clear cover, where do you get them?
Finally, a DOT compliant High Intensity Discharge (HID) projection headlight assembly kit for the 1997-2004 C5 and Z06 Corvette! Performance is truly outstanding! The stock headlights on the C5 have long been an area of concern for drivers, with the low beams delivering only 1000 lumens and the high beams just 1700 lumens. Our HID kit is rated at 3200 lumens for the low beams and 2500 for the high beams! Plus, thanks to a special 'C5 circuit' designed into the wiring harness, the low beams remain on with the highs for added illumination!
Our HID kits incorporate German optics, polycarbonate lenses, OEM-quality precision-crafted headlamp/projection assemblies, and custom wiring harnesses developed exclusively for the 5th generation Corvette. The HID harness is "plug and play" with no wire cutting, soldering, or crimping required.
Included in kit: right and left headlamp assemblies, Philips ballasts, bulbs, wiring harnesses, mounting hardware, instructions and DOT certificate.
This premium HID light kit comes with a 3-year limited warranty from the manufacturer.
This HID system meets all current DOT standards specified in the Federal Motor Vehicle (and Canadian Motor Vehicle) Safety Standard FMVSS108, which covers automotive lighting.
It's a gorgeous looking kit, especially the black ones. JDM's Vette was the first one that I saw them on. Man they're sweet! It looks like getting a hold of them from the manufacturer is harder than the install.
