Default Electrical Problem, car wont start

so I was about to take the car out for the night, trying to unlock it with the keyless entry, i'm getting no response. So i thought maybe I left a light on an killed the battery, unlocked it with the key and the alarm goes off. tried starting it, starts for a second then shuts off, so i'm guessing it ran off the fuel from when the fuel pump first primed up. theft deterrent not keeping the car running?
also I have no power windows, keyless entry, radio, a/c. reduce engine power/ service abs/traction control all on. tried hooking up my hptuners so I can get some kinda code so I know atleast know where to start. laptop wont connect to the pcm, its telling me make sure key is on. I know everything is hooked up correctly and key is on. checked PCM fuse, its good. all gauges sweep when I turn the key on like normal.
has this ever happened to anyone? I was leaning towards BCM but why would that not allow the PCM to not respond to my Hptuners?

turn point to this story, came home this morning 12hrs lata, hit the lock button, horn honks wtf! hopped in the car, it started right up like nothing ever happened!

Look into history codes - something should have been 'reported' there.

I would guess that the issue originated with the battery (going bad - bad ground, etc.)

I had the same thing happen last year, except no alarm went off when I unlocked it, and it never started, turn the key and no starter, just gage sweep. No codes, lights still worked. Tried jumps even swapped the battery out.........nothing. Since I was at work I had to have it towed to the dealer.....when we rolled it off the flatbed it started right up..................

Yea, maybe the car had a boner? I find it hard to get going when that happens to me.

Make sure your four grounds, two on each frame rail inside the engine compartment are tight and clean...
