"Budget" headers and VR velocity stack
What company makes the best low-end headers? With the f-bodies it is the pacesetters. They are good quality yet at a bargain price. Which are the cheapest, yet not junk headers. I don;t wanna buy something that is going to fit like **** and break after 2 years.
Also, what is up with the VR velocity stack? Do they actually increase power, or is it one of those gimmicks? Thanks for the help.

Budget and Corvette dont belong in the same sentence.
IMO LG's are the best but what is your price range?

Depends on your goals. Some are good for high end torque/ some low end. There was a recent thread on the e-bay headers and they seem to have a good following. $300 for 20-25hp is very, very good numbers. I also heard good things about the velocity stack. Guess you have to try it out for yourself. Good luck.

Did LG Streets on my kids FRC. Good quality and performance, Great fit and fairly easy install. Paid $895 with the off road X.

Gimmick. It's like a carb spacer... but no carb. Doesn't do anything for a fuel injected car.

You can get cheap headers on ebay. The 50.00 velocity stack isnt worth the 50 cents of plastic that its made of.

save a few bucks until you can get something worth the effort to install.

Texas Speed FTW. I think they are an excellent header. No complaints here.
