I also have Photobucket. It looks like you may be copying the direct link instead of the image code. The fourth box below your picture is labeled "IMG Code". Left click once in that box (you'll see "copied" appear). Then just paste that into the message. Voila. Your picture will appear in your post.

Vader: You can also adjust picture size to suit message board postings.
At the top of the picture, click on "edit"
Click on "resize" (or just the drop down arrow to the right of resize)
Choose the size

I noticed that once you change them you cant make them bigger again.
