I've got a 1998 C5 and have been having issues with the driver's seat. When I come to a normal stop (no speed) the seat slides forward about half an inch. It will slide back when accelerating and so on. It will slide back and forth if I move it by hand. I recently found a white delrin bushing under the seat. Does anyone have any idea how I can fix this. Your help is appreciated.........

Somewhat common problem with C5 seats. I've got a few Word files that cover various methods of fixing the problem. PM me your e-mail address and I'll forward them to you.

This might help U when of if you try to fix your seats. It's not a complicated fix but does take time and care. I found that if you just follow the next two paragraphs when you follow the instructions in the following link it'll make your job a hell of a lot easier
1) There are 2 -13mm hex head screws between the rear seat foam & the rail, holding 2 flat angle plates (these are holding a round cross rod).
2) Remove these and both rails will drop down allowing access to the torx screws (Just use a standard 3/8 drive w/ a standard size 13 mm socket
Then follow the directions from the following link.
