I like the lines much better on the Coupe. The storage space is great. To me it's the best of both worlds. I think Vert's are over rated and over priced. Also whomever tells you that there is the same amount or close to the same amount of storage in a Vert and a Coupe is smoking crack

But what does it mean!?! Should I get the vert? Or the coupe? Or maybe a Z06???
I suggest you find someone with a big bo...obs and a great bu...tt, and ask her opinion. I bet she says vert!

I recently went through the same thing you are going through. Let's face it, they're all great. What finally sold me on the coupe was the luggage space. I recently returned from a 2 week trip to the East Coast and carried 2 full sets of golf clubs plus 2 good size luggage bags and a small cooler. I was even able to drive with the top off and safely stored on top of the load. However, if my wife and I were not into golf, I think I would have got a vert.

Ah yes... it's been WEEKS since the vert/coupe issue has been raised. I have nothing new to add... I agree with everyone... whatever their position.

It's a clear and sunny day... I think I'll go for a drive with the top down. I hope I don't get the sudden urge to stop in to Lowes and gets some dry wall or 2x4s since they won't fit in my "tiny" trunk.

we use the vert for grocery shopping as well as trips to wherever... plenty of room and i love the looks i get when i pack many, many bags into the (way too small) trunk...

Default vert

well first of all hopefully your c5 isn't your only car if it is maybe you should get the coupe because of the luggage issue. If it isn't then you have to go with the vert, it's a vette who cares about luggage. It's also a 2 seater but that's not going to stop you from buying it. There is a reason why the vert cost more because it looks better. and gets alot more looks. Nothing beats cruising on a hot summer day with the top down and the breeze on your face trust me nothing beats a vert.

Love my vert. Can take the top down and throw a couple of duffle bags in the trunk for the weekend. Travel fast and light. I love motorcycles and taking the top down on my vert is the next best thing.

I love how all if not most of the Vert owners have a EGO issue and think a Vert is the ONLY way to go.

They are all Vettes people.... each has their own preference to what they like dislike...but in the end.. NO ONE IS BETTER THAN THE OTHER

VERT OWNERS (most of you not all) GET OVER YOURSELVES

This is a very personal decision, one that you'll be stuck with for awhile, so make it carefully. IMHO, verts can be very cool, but nothing beats a coupe for its day-to-day practicality and flexibility...

Sounds like you wish that you bought a vert

Not that you'd ever sell it, but verts almost always have beterr resale value (the '63 is one exception)
