Default Caravaggio vs VetteEssentials

I asked this question a few days ago under the wrong topic and got no feedback...

Unless I am mis-reading the advertised pricing, the stock leather Sport Seat COVERS from Caravaggio and VetteEsstentials are within $100 of each other (about $2000 per pair). I wonder which one looks/feels/lasts better in real life. I have never seen either in the real world and am getting ready to order one or the other next month.

Has anyone seen/experienced both of these hands-on?

I guess they both use the stock padding?

From what I can tell from the photos, the Caravaggio design looks more like a "luxury" car (like maybe a Lexus) and the VE standard design is a more aggressive "sporty" look, but hard to tell just from photos.

All I can talk about are the Vette Essentials seats, since I have them. Yes, they use the stock foam padding. The leather is top notch and the fit is perfect. I've had them installed on my car for well over four years and they are holding up extremely well. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend buying them. First class service and product all the way.

Well, there isnt really a standard design with VE. They will make any color pattern that you want. and will use any material, without affecting the price. So if you want a more classy look, just tell them, they will work with you to design what works for you. I have no doubt they could make a seat that looks exactly like what is on the caravaggio website.
Yes they use the stock foam, VE offers new foam for $250 if my memory serves me. You can also get sport seat foam and convert your standard seat into sports if you wish. I dont know about caravaggio on that.
Matt and Sandy offer great service and a great product. I recomend them 100%.

Having had both manufactures products:

1) Caravaggio makes an awesome product - minimal ability to 'custom' design without spending more

2. VE products are just as good, however you can do more custom work without the additinal

Here are pics of VE (my old Caravaggio pics are long gone):

Looks like VE is the winner!

I have been talking with Matt at VE several times over the past year. The hold up is that they have apparently had trouble getting any Carbon Fiber skins which is part of the design I am looking for. I have been ready to order everything from VE for a year - juat waiting on materals samples!

Originally, they thought they would have more of the CF material (like shown in a few examples on their site) in-stock last January, but still waiting I guess?

AC54ME - thanks for the pics - both interiors look great!
