Help!!! Dic Has No Comm.

Are you following these instructions to gain access to the codes:
Turn the key to the ON position, but don't start the engine. Clear any present messages by pressing the RESET button (BE SURE THAT YOUR DOORS ARE CLOSED). Hold the OPTIONS button down, and press the FUEL button 4 times. This will get you into the CODES section of the DIC. The computer will automatically display all the codes your car has created. It will cycle through each code every 3 seconds. Any code that ends in H is a history code (something that has occured in the past) but is fine now. Once the computer has finished going through all of it's codes, press RESET to enter Manual Configuration mode. It should start with a module and show "NO CODES" or "# CODES".
Does the DIC accept this process?
Ecm- No Comm.
Rdcm-no Comm.
Every One Of Them Does This
I Was Having Trouble With The Pass Door Window Would Not Work. I Check The Wires In The Door Jam All Ok So I Changed The Pass Door Modual And The Window Started Working But Only From The Pass Side Will Not Work From Drivers Side.
Thanks Chase

Prior to that activity there was not a problem - correct?
Presumming the above is correct - I would first disconnect the 'new' passanger door module.
Now try the DIC.
If it works, the problem is isolated to the module (and or connection).
Let us know the results.
My seats stopped holding memory settings. It was driving me nuts. I did the simple fix posted by Bill Curlee and it took care of my problem.
It is worth a look.

Take out the battery and look under it. Did the battery leak on the cables and computer underneath?
I hope not
If it did I recommend you consider trading the car.
If it did not, replace the battery and reconnect. Cross your fingers, it may have been a temporary glitch. Very likely there was nothing ever wrong with the window control module.
Good Luck
Check the individual pin connectors and check the grounds.
Start at the doors, battery & under the battery, then common grounds under the hood, followed by the connections on the modules in the passenger foot well.
See the sticky at the top of the C5 tech section.
Keep testing to see if the codes will run.

Ok - like posted above - remove the battery - check very CLOSELY under the tray and verify if there is battery residue. Also check the grounds (passenger and drivers side).
BTW - how old is the battery???????
If there is none - leave the battery disconnected for 15 minutes or so.
Reconnect and see if you can now see codes.
If you cannot - I strongly recommend that you post this in the Tech section - seeking more options.

I had the same issue (gage readings were haywire and NO COMM) and it was the wire harnesses from the body to the pass. door.
Just like Bill Curlee recommended, I shook the accordian hose and the window started working again. I then removed teh accordian hose and found that the tubing over the bare wire had mover (shrunk) and created a short ... a little electrical tape and she's good to go.
I hope that this solves your issues as well.
