You can read all you want, but reading is no substitute for the real hands on experience and thats where you'll learn how to lauch your z06. At the track is where you will experiment, adjust and find that sweet spot.
Not saying that reading is not fundamental because it is and ranger's suggestions will give you a starting point, but at the track is where you will learn via trial and error. Good luck and report back when you get some seat times, then we can suggest accordingly.
