Is this normal ???
Hello Fellow Z0's
Been a while since I have had some time to chat. Question ??? When standing still and turning the steering wheel to the extream lock either way, the wheel just seems to sit there. No feeling of return to get off the lock position. If you move the wheel an inch or two, it will show signs of wanting to return. Might be a normal because of tires, magnetic steering and wheel alignment settings but I'm not sure. Anyone else experience this ???

Might be normal, but before we can tell for sure: what is your zodiac sign?
And why would you stand still if you have a Z06? Further, why would you just sit there at a stop turning the wheel in both directions?

Very funny... Have a tight garage and have to turn wheel all they way to get out into driveway. If you dont mind can you try it out next time your not driving at the speed of light and let me know...

Actually bud, no harm intended.
I do have a tight park myself given the wife's SUV, and my new Z06 is the only car I've owned that has a weird "whine" if I try to turn the wheel beyond what GM considers proper.
Oh well. Newbie to vettes myself, just enjoying the hell out of my 7 day old Z06.

BUT, you know what? In the last 2 weeks or so since joining this forum I seem to be starting many of my posts with the words "Sorry but..."
Maybe my dryer humor just doesn't belong in a volume forum, lest we offend someone.
If it weren't for the overriding fact that I need to be nice because I love my Z06 and need the ongoing support...

Hey no problem... Just did know where you were coming from. If you could I would appreciate you trying it out and let me know... Weather holding up in the northeast so it will be a Z0 weekend with the wife... :seeya
