Default what to do???

Looking for suggestions on what I should do;

I purchased Bilstein HD shocks from "partslad" online through Ebay and installed them myself. I installed Zo6 sway bars at the same time.

Right off the bat I noticed a squeak in the rear when going over sways or bumps. I thought it must be the rear sway bar, so I re-installed it using different lubricant. Still had the squeaks! Took the car to LG's MotorSport in Wylie three different times to help me figure it out. Adjustments were made to the ride height as well as a few other things in an attempt to identify/resolve the squeak. Finally LG's installed a set of ZO6 rear loaner shocks and the problem was gone. The Bilsteins were returned to "Partslad" and they sent me new ones. LG's removed the loaners and installed the new Bilsteins shocks today. The problem is resolved (no squeaks with the new ones).

LG's did not charge me anything for the three times troubleshooting but did charge me for the loaner swap and removal. 110.00 each time. I'm out 220.00 figuring out the problem. Any suggestiions as to how I can/should recover this from Bilstein? Sorry for this being long............................

Write them a nice letter and hope (but don't hold your breath). I seriously doubt that they will cover this for you.

It is always worth a try. Send a copy of the bill showing the work performed.

with the above. Can't hurt to see if they will cover the cost, but IMO, I doubt they will pay for the work.

Thanks guys.....................

This is an instance where it would have PAID to have purchased them through LG's and paid a little more. Sometimes we loose............
