Your garage is bigger than the finished sq ft of my house too. But, your garage does look great. Mine is a three car, 726 sq ft garage.

This is a rich man's thread. Let me get my poor broke butt outta here!

I will say this, my hat's off to the first guy who builds a garage with doors on both sides of the house. He will never have to use the reverse gear to come and go out of his house. That's my "dream garage!"

Great setup!!! Here's my humble 2 car garage. Before I re-did it the paint was so cheap it lookey grey, cabinets were old hand-me-downs, holes all around etc.

1. Fix all holes w/ spackle
2. Fresh Baer ultra pure white
3. Put up chair molding
4. Paint molding and trim custom red
5. Self-stick vinyl tiles belwo molding
6. Misc vette pictures and memorabilia

I left the floor alone as I work in the garage.

Here's what goes in it:

The Z06

The Panoz

The Canyon & Trailer (rarely goes in the garage)

LOL Most of your garages are larger than my Co-op and garage combined. Anyway here's mine, got my own door, but the garage next to mine is not seperated, theres no locks either so all its really good for is protecting her from the elements. The Corvette poster on the wall is to remind my idiot super that this is MY garage, as one night I came home and found his car parked there, he left it there for over a week while he was on vacation! He was supposed to use a garage on the other side of the building.

I gotta a trash can, a rake, 3 shovels and a box of nails in my garage.
I hope to have the shovels paid off in 2008.

You guys with the drive on 4 post lifts, how tallk do the ceilings need to be for those to work with corvettes? I have 9' in one bay and I was thinking about reqorking my garage door in that bay (single door) to go higher before it turns in. I would like to stack a couple of projects to help clear some space.

my ceiling is 10' 4" tall and the lift will stack both cars just fine. at that height you can raise the lift with any vette to its highest point.

My current garage/shop is 33 ft deep x 55 ft wide, attached to the house. It's larger than the detached shops what I've had in the past, but I have to share it with the daily drivers.

Hi guys -

My house originally had an attached 22X21 garage. I used to be able to get two cars and 5 motorcycles in there, but once I bought the Z06 back in Dec 2001, I had a garage space shortage.

I added a 19.5X36 foot garage onto the side of the house - so it is still attached.

I specified that the ceiling needed to be high enough to accomodate a two post lift.

I also had a radiant heat system put in the floor - that was a very good move!

So it is not the biggest garage, and it is not the smallest, but my friends and I do get a lot of work done in it!

Here are a few pictures -

best regards -

We have a little over 1100 sq. ft. 3 car garage in with the house with a 14 foot ceiling, and another detatched two story building/garage of 1100 sq. ft. on the first floor with 10 foot ceiling. Holds six cars in all if needed.

Highest point with the 10'4" ceiling? Any idea how much, if any, space you have left? Mine is at 9' without the garage door up. I am not concerned about the opener as I am going to install one of the units that mounts just above the door on the wall.

Here is my garage. Just finished the floor about 2 weeks ago. This week my Christmas gift from my wife arrived - Hot Dawg 75,000 BTU garage heater. Can't wait to get it hooked up with the winter weather quickly approaching.

OK, let me see if i understand this clearly. Here we are a bunch of guys envying other guys who have bigger garages. OK, remeber what the wise ones told us, it's not the size but how you use, right? So i have an averge sized garage and i can actually get TWO cars in it, one being my Vette.

BUT, I have a nice fridge full of really good beer, Corona, Dos Equis, Blue Moon, Bohemia, and even some Miller Lite, AND I have a 100 watt Fender amp and a couple of guitars. So, mine's not the biggest, but I have just as much fun with mine.
